As the year of our Lord, 2022, is coming to an end, we welcome 2023 with anticipation! We welcome the ability to start fresh with new projects and finish other tasks that keep us moving daily. ModWay Homes, LLC is excited for the new year and our New Year’s Resolutions! In 2022, ModWay Homes learned much from itself as a self-aware company. Our small team kept all of us knowing what we needed to do to continue to make changes individually for our families/clients to be happier, healthier, and wiser on their projects.

However, last year we had some excellent successes and a few woes. Our accomplishments were on the part of everyone who has been a part of our ModWay Family! Including, but not limited to, new homeowners, Fairmont Homes, our subcontractors, and our ModWay team! We are a relatively young company that loves to do things fresh, putting our homeowners first and foremost!

In 2022…

In 2022, we started the year with a big bang! We set a home in South Bend on January 2nd and continued. After that initial set for the year, we developed 22 houses and completed them, with 22 new families happy! In December 2022, we set a new home on 12/29 – a full year of home sets and property builds!

We learned a lot in 2022; paramount, above all, was getting utilities turned on promptly!  We learned one particular and a mainstream key piece of knowledge; they are busy as we are! Grace goes a long way with utility companies. Dealing with utility companies, they are probably more busy than we are! Sometimes we run into people who don’t know their job for whatever reason, and it feels like they are not listening to us; keep listening to them because they may figure it out as we speak in dialogue.

Also, in 2022, we learned that more than being a team is needed. Through loss and tribulations, we learned that becoming a family is how we are strongest. Through teamwork, we accept our failures and our wins together. We learned that regular team meetings hold us together as a family and that as we work together, we strive for things not to fall through the cracks! We set up our company to be one that reduces redundancies and embraces efficiency, not to create more work that has already been performed.

Uncontrollable Factors…

Many things are not in our control, as has been pointed out over the year. The weather is often a factor in what we do. Furthermore, there is the element of logistical chains that often are at the mercy of the market economy. Supply issues hindered us in a way we hadn’t seen before, but we made do by keeping our eyes open to improve and find other ways to move forward. The price of products and services rose everywhere; unfortunately, which is nothing we can do to stop them, but the increases were fair as they could be across the board. We grumbled about that, but in the end, we made do with what we had to do to ensure that our families were taken care of.

If you are in the market for a new home in the coming year, let us know, the one thing that we have continued to do from the very first breath of this company is to always listen to our new (and potential) homeowners. We will work with you as an individual and family because every family has a unique situation, and we recognize that! We will work with you to make things happen as quickly as possible, with the understanding that there are circumstances that we cannot get around, but we will do our best to do the best for you!

Moving into 2023
