Silver Creek Home opened its doors in 2005. Since then, they have had the honor and privilege to provide our local communities with high-quality and affordable manufactured and modular homes in the Michiana region.
Understanding that a home is where you raise your family, entertain friends, and grow old, Silver Creek Homes, Inc. takes pride in building numerous customized homes for all the cities in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan.
Unfortunately; one of the founders came down with a terminal illness and Siver Creek had to close their doors to the public, but through hard work and perseverance ModWay Homes stands in its wake.
For 15 Years Silver Creek was “THE NAME” in Modular
The place you would look for affordable housing in the fifteen years that Silver Creek was open was conveniently located on Cassopolis Street in Elkhart, IN. Silver Creek was the place that got things done. Silver Creek Homes was effective in creating a great new home for many people in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan!
It was a wonderful place and many wonderful clients that had gotten a home were helped out. With an average of 4.5 Stars out of Google Reviews, you can rest assured that this company was on top of things and made things happen for the client. This is where ModWay Homes is now and is following in that same path of being family-focused because we know as a company that being family means way more than being a “company” that does not care.
The Perception Was Changed
Silver Creek Homes’ tagline was “Changing the Perception” and with few exceptions, the perception was changed by and far. Being able to compete with traditional stick build homes was unheard of, but because of the manufacturer’s massive buying power and exceptional craftsmanship Silver Creek was able to make a name for itself. Leading the way to ModWay Homes never heard of before.
Modular houses are built to state codes and after the homes are set they are not discernable to the public as built in a factory. For that matter: once they are set they are appraised the same as a typical stick-built house; which through the perilous work of Silver Creek Homes they managed to change the perception and ideas of the typical consumer.
